The abrupt ending of Southland still haunts me. What was it like walking away from such intense characters?

I just binge-watched the first three episodes and so far I'm really enjoying the show, but it seems to be lacking any likeable or redeeming characters. Without posting any spoilers, can you tell me if there's ever going to be a decent protagonist?

Any fun stories from the set of Animal Kingdom? It seems like so many guys hanging out there should be some crazy stories or pranks being pulled. :-) Also, what's it like working with Ellen Barkin? She's so bad ass on the show, is she all smiles otherwise?

I heard you talk about it a little on Kevin and Bean a couple weeks ago but how different is it to film in Oceanside compared to Los Angeles? We were out there right before Mother's day and I'm pretty sure you guys were there as well.

Loved your work on SouthLAnd. I like that you get a chance to play a darker character on Animal Kingdom. Any chance we'll see some redeeming qualities in Pope or are we on just the start of a very dark path?

I love AK...and I loved Southland! I also remember you as Owen from Felicity haha! Pope reminds me of "Danny" from Bloodline in some ways. ...Do you worry about ratings? I get so frustrated when people don't watch good shows!

I recently introduced my girlfriend to SouthLAnd, and I think she's really getting into it. We both love your character in the show, and think you do a phenomenal job portraying Sammy. Once we finish it, we're going to have to jump into Animal Kingdom.

Would you be able to share any stories from SouthLAnd of C. Thomas Howell or Michael Cudlitz? They're our two other favorite individuals on that cast.
