About the Julian Dennison Interview

My short bio: At the ripe age of 10, emerging star JULIAN DENNISON (Ricky Baker) enjoyed a breakthrough role in the Wellington film Shopping, which screened at the prestigious Sundance and Berlin International film festivals, and went on to win awards for Best Film and Best Screenplay at the New Zealand Film Awards in 2013. Following Shopping, Dennison received widespread praise for his performance as Kevin in his second feature-film, Paper Planes. He has also starred in the award-winning advertising campaign Blazed, which was launched on Māori Television and initiated his relationship with director Taika Waititi. Hunt for the Wilderpeople will be 13-year-old Dennison’s third role in a feature-film
